About me

Hi, I’m Andrew Veldran.

Flat lay of everyday carry: wallet, glasses, watch, and headphones

I’m a full-stack and DevOps engineer based in New York. I work across the whole stack, from the interfaces people use to the pipelines and infrastructure that ship and run them.

What I do

I’m currently a Software Solutions Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Most of my career has been in financial technology, where software has to be reliable, secure, and easy to operate.

Before the New York Fed, I worked at the London Stock Exchange Group, first as Vice President of Fullstack Development & Development Operations and later as Senior Manager, Lead DevOps. Before that, I was Vice President of Full-Stack & DevOps at Yieldbook, then part of Citi.

How I got here

I started out on the front end, building mobile experiences as a Mobile Front End Developer at Mindspark Interactive Network. I later led UI engineering as a contractor at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. That front-end foundation grew into full-stack development, and eventually into leading DevOps work: automating builds and deployments so teams can ship with confidence.

I studied at Long Island University.
